WILD CAUGHT. SUSTAINABLY FARMED

Back in 1984, as we entered the industry after many years of being away from it, we collected our wild-caught spat by gathering the 'cobbler's pegs' - a local name for mangrove shoots - from the foreshore of Limeburners Creek. This was laborious and time-consuming and dirty work - but very rewarding. From these humble beginnings, Port Pearler Oysters has grown to be one of the major players on the river, and the Mangrove Jack brand for our oysters is a nod to the pioneering nature of our business.

OUR OYSTERS

Our farm workers have access to the latest technology in materials handling, and also subscribe to environmentally sustainable practices. The old days of back-breaking labour are a thing of the past, as we utilise our state-of-the-art computerised grading machine, hydraulic lifting mechanisms, and automated washers. Great care is taken in handling the product - we are very proud of our record of supplying only the freshest, just-harvested product - straight from the pristine waters of the Hastings River and Limeburners Creek.

When placing your order allow 24 hours for packaging. Please remember to include your pickup date in the Notes.  You will be notified when your order is ready to collect.
